BALTIMORE, Md. (August 26, 2013) — Sawmill partner Jeffrey A. Davis, APR has been invited to speak on social media at the National Lipid Association’s “Clinical Lipid Update” on Sept. 21 in Baltimore.
Co-presenting with Dr. James A. Underberg, director of the Bellevue Hospital Lipid Clinic, the two will share tips and best practices for using social media in the medical field, including what to do when people use social media to reach out to physicians for medical advice.
Dr. Underberg, a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine and the NYU Center for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention, is a nationally recognized expert in cardiovascular disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of cholesterol and hypertensive disorders.
Their session is titled: “Using Social Media to Build Your Brand and Boost Referrals.” The conference will use the hashtag #NLABaltimore.
